Esnami was founded on a simple premise: organizations need security and compliance partners who understand both the infrastructure they run on and the regulatory landscape they operate within. Too often, these two disciplines are treated as separate functions: engineers who build and defend networks, and consultants who interpret frameworks and write policy. Esnami exists to close that gap.

Based in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, Esnami delivers hands-on network security engineering alongside strategic compliance advisory, giving clients a single, accountable partner across both domains.

Founder & Principal Consultant

I'm Adriaan, the founder and principal consultant at Esnami. Over more than 13 years in enterprise networking and security, I've worked across telecom, public sector, and managed IT environments, including engagements with VodafoneZiggo, Politie Nederland (Dutch National Police), CBR, and Simac. My background spans large-scale datacenter migrations, nationwide Cisco ISE deployments, network architecture, and security-focused infrastructure projects for organizations where reliability and accountability are non-negotiable.

That technical foundation is backed by industry-recognized credentials, including CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, and Check Point CCSA R81, with ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and NIS2 Lead Implementer certifications currently in progress.

What sets Esnami apart isn't just technical depth; it's the ability to translate that depth into language that boards, auditors, and operational teams can all act on. I've spent my career as the engineer who can also sit across the table from stakeholders and explain why a control matters, not just how to implement it. That combination is rare, and it's the foundation Esnami is built on.
